The process ensures that the surface of the earth is warm enough for the existence of life. The radiations are also absorbed by special atmospheric gases known as the greenhouse gases. The greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide, ozone, methane, water vapor, nitrous oxide and other artificial gases from the chlorofluorocarbon chemicals.
